Terrorist probing and softening OK’d by Dems

Michelle Malkin has been keeping a watch on efforts to protect from civil lawsuits those who report suspicious activity. This originally stems from the flying imams case, in which abnormal and clearly threatening behavior by a group of Muslim clerics was reported and the airplane was grounded. The imams responded by filing a lawsuit against the airline

and against unspecified “John Does,” or citizens who voiced concerns and observations.

There is little doubt that the terrorists are testing defenses and working to suppress them. Silencing those who note suspicious behavior is a calculated part of testing and softening. Those who vote against lawsuit protection for those who voice concerns are abetting such efforts.

I’m not trying to be tendentious. I just can’t imagine any other way of framing it.

What are the Dems thinking?

Eric
